Woodside Ferry Terminal

I have no place to put my car to use the public transit as it should be a “park and ride” but unfortunately all the NSCC students are parking there and leaves no spots for people actually riding the ferry. Something needs to be done about this because if I cannot park in the designated area for the ferry I will get a ticket anywheres else. I ride the ferry so I will not get a ticket in Halifax and that defeats the purpose of me taking the ferry.

This lot is a fair size and usually fills up by 8- 8:30am. Unfortunately the NSCC students at the campus down the street use it as a free alternative to campus parking. This leaves many transit users without parking. Something needs to be done about this. The lot is there for metro transit users, not campus parking.

Always full by 7:45. Useless for the many 9-5ers

Always full by 7:30-8. Not good for people working at 9 or later. No full day parking close by either
