We went to the Forks to have a nice day and found out that the parking was unavailable because you have to have a credit card. Well not everyone has a credit card. I think it is disgusting that we can’t pay by debit card. We will never ever go there again. Pretty sad since I was born and raised in Winnipeg and can’t enjoy the luxuries unless I have a credit card.

Parkade nice. Payment system crap. nowhere posted 3 hours max. We requested 5 hours during Canada Games 2017. It took our $10.00 no prob. We decided to stay 2 hours more. It took our $4.00 and extended the time 1/2 hour. ALSO. If it's free after 9:00 why does it charge??? PM why does the machine still ch

The parkade is no longer free. I went there this Sunday July 9, 2017 and was shocked to see that we had to pay to park. You need to know how many hours you think you will stay and you pay $2 per hour. This is something new that must have started this year. It's really sad that after SO many years of having a free place to park you now have to pay. It will stop me from going to the forks as much as I normal do with my kids this summer.

I'd definitely park there when going to the Forks! It even tells you how many spots are available when you first drive into the parkade.
