When leaving the parking lot, as I have many times before, I insert my ticket into the machine and feel it take my ticket. I turn to grab my card to pay and when I turn around it doesn't show me the pay screen. I press the assistance button and very quietly hear some foreign yelling. That's when Jaleto walks up and immediately tells me I'm lying to him and that this machine doesn't jam. I tell him I put my ticket in the machine and I'm not lying to him. He continues to argue with me with way too much intensity, unable to control his emotions, being very rude. Turns out the machine spat my ticket out as I turned my back to it and my ticket was underneath my car. This caused him to very animatedly and condescendingly tell me to back up. Speaking way too fast and rude to even understand him. Where do they find these people..
Lost ticket!!? Parked for three hours, should have been 12 bucks total. But with no ticket at the machine, you push the "lost ticket" button and it comes up with a $29 charge. The daily max is only $16, why $29 dollars? What a scam!!!
I went to park there and as soon as I got out of the car, I was met with a woman man with very long manicured nails. She came up to me and my car ran her nail up along the hood of my car and asked if I had winter tires on my car. I said yes and then she said I had to leave and that I was not allowed to park there. When I asked why, she just continued and said that I had to leave. I told her if she was kicking me out, I am not paying for parking. She then took my parking ticket and ushered me and my car to the exit. When I spoke to a friend later, she had said that studded tires are not allowed there (she had the somewhat of the same experience before). NOWHERE ARE THERE SIGNS OR POSTING THAT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT STUDDED WINTER TIRES!
I parked for 5 hours and was made to pay $20. I think the guy in the booth is pocketing extra money. Not cool.
Big rip off. Charged for half an hour for the five minutes I waited behind a car that couldn't get the machine to work and the clerk didn't know what to do Typical of this car park.
Many of the lots in this area are now $12 per day (March, 2016)
